Wightwick Crows

In 2010 I took part in a project called 'Making Art History', based at Wightwick Manor in Wolverhampton. A group of artists were invited to develop new work based on the collections there. I chose to work with this tiny image of a crow that was originally from a drawing by Millais. The pieces are small and intimate and were intended to be hung from existing knobs such as on drawers & wardrobes.
